Skip Sensei is a jump rope workout app. It counts your jumps with a supported smart jump rope or your phone's camera, coaches you with animated characters, and saves your workout history. This policy explains what the app does with information about you. The short version: your workouts and camera images stay on your phone, there are no ads inside the app and no account. To measure our own ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), the app shares a few install, app-open and purchase events with Meta, as described below.

Health Connect

If you turn on "Sync to Health Connect" in the app, Skip Sensei writes each finished workout to Health Connect on your phone: one exercise session (start and end time, workout name, and its rounds as segments) and an estimate of active calories burned. The app only writes this data; it never reads anything from Health Connect. Nothing is written unless you turn the option on and grant permission, and you can turn it off or revoke the permissions at any time in the app or in Health Connect's settings. Data in Health Connect is stored on your device and managed by Android under Google's privacy policy; other apps can only see it if you give them permission there.

Skip Sensei's use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Advertising measurement (Meta)

We advertise Skip Sensei on Facebook and Instagram. To learn which ads lead to installs and subscriptions, the app includes Meta's app events SDK. It sends Meta: that the app was installed and opened, your device's advertising ID (if your device makes it available), an anonymous app-instance ID, and basic device information such as model, operating system and app version. When you buy or renew a subscription, our subscription service RevenueCat also tells Meta about the purchase (product, price and currency) linked to that anonymous ID. Meta does not receive your workouts, camera images, Health Connect data, or anything you type into the app.

Meta uses this data to measure and improve our ads under its own privacy policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your phone's Settings under Privacy → Ads. Skip Sensei does not show ads inside the app.

Subscriptions and payments

Purchases are made through Google Play. We never see or store your card or payment details. To check whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives a random anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipts from Google Play, and basic device information such as app version and platform. RevenueCat does not receive your name, workouts, or camera data. RevenueCat forwards purchase events to Meta as described above. What the app does not do

No ads inside the app.
No crash-reporting services. The only analytics are the Meta advertising events described above.
No account or sign-in.
No microphone access. Coach voices are prerecorded audio.
No location access.
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the Meta advertising events above, we do not share it with other companies.

Deleting your data

Because your workouts, answers, and settings live on your phone, you can delete all of them by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling the app. Workouts already written to Health Connect can be deleted in Health Connect's settings. To ask RevenueCat to delete your anonymous purchase record, contact us at the address below.

Children

Skip Sensei is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, mention it in the app.
